Artoveli's NaNoWriMo Characters 2011

So here's a jumble of characters from my current NaNo novel! In case you missed the journal wherein I posted my hastily-written synopsis, I'll copy-paste it here for you:

Tupple and Toft - or - Vikings Coming out of the Pantry All the Time

Synopsis:

Chudmore Manor was built on a patch of thin space (on purpose), a couple of centuries ago. Since that time four generations of Chudmores have lived in and cared for this building, with its doors that open onto different historical eras depending on the day of the week, the random fits of interior weather, and the frequent Viking infestations. When the latest generation (two sisters) decide it's time to carry on the family line and accept some new blood into the mix, they start looking around for likely candidates.

Enter Jack Tupple and John Toft, chosen by their wives largely for their ability to roll with things, and the assumption that their personalities would work well together on a team. And indeed, so far so... generally-alright.

But outside of Chudmore Manor there is a threat that is gathering steam. BlueDuke, the rather fatherly evil overlord who's job it is to keep an organization of mad scientists in check (focusing their attention on smaller jobs, like unleashing a hoard of rampaging robots on the town, rather than letting them build whatever enormous planet-destroying death ray may strike their fancy) has had his sights on Chudmore Manor for years, and now it seems that things might finally be turning in his favor (except for the fact that he's actually got a huge crush on John's wife and has been feeling a little depressed since the wedding, but you know).

Throw in a time-frozen ancient Chinese man called The Chancellor, a flock of migrating Dymorphodons, and a bottle of bad Perrier, and you've got a pretty clear idea of where this story is headed, I'd say.
