Edge Chronicles fanart, what a surprise!

Apparently the best way to get to Riverrise (the legendary place which several characters have spent an awful lot of time trying to find) is by sky-firing. Much of the wood in The Edge Chronicles is buoyant when burned, so sky-firing is the Sky Pirate version of walking the plank. You're tied to a log of buoyant wood which is then set ablaze, sending you blasting off into open sky. Anyway... So I decided to give it a try, and now here I am in Riverrise! Riverrise is also the place where we fans have taken to sending all the characters in the series whom we refuse to believe are dead. There are eight people here now: Maugin, Woodfish, Goom, Twig (all youngified thanks to the water), Cloudwolf (similarly youngified), Varris Lodd, myself, and Lol Olo the Gnockgoblin that was sent after me. Lol Olo has since joined on as my secretary.

Never attempt to draw a Banderbear without a reference! *sigh*

Quint (Cloud Wolf) is mistrustful of the burning log still strapped to my back. I've no idea why.

Oh, the burning log is so awful! :tears: Man, this is a really beautiful thought. But how should Varis get there??

How high did she fly then? I mean, you know the big map in the "Immortals", Riverrise is really far away from the Free Glades! And if she was really hit by a goblin's projectile and crashed down, she would never reach the goal. This is science. But we do art! So: I love it anyway!
