It's Cyan again! He's the character I always envision when I'm playing a Myst game. Here we have a little commentary on the logic behind "prison books". According to one of Atrus' journals on Tomahna--the commentary to Spire, I believe--they were Ages he used just in case he needed them for something. And he decided to use them as prison books. Idk why he didn't just use regular prison books, but Sirrus and Achenar were probably more comfortable in worlds than staticky rooms.
